What a great experience to go to a working wool mill using technology from the last century. The kids loved it as much as we did!

We really enjoyed learning the art of making yarn from start to finish. Everyone at Custom Wool Mill were friendly and knowledgeable. They had some interactive activities such as a felting workshop and demonstrations on how they make socks and twist the fibres onto to spools. The fact they are still using century+ old machinery, is amazing. Lovely farm shop. Overall, a great experience and worth the drive.

This was such a great experience. Everyone we meet was welcoming and friendly and so eager to share their passion with us. The machines are in such great condition and so much fun to watch. I'll be back to buy more yarn soon!

We had an amazing time there! It is such a nice place! We admired all the old machines they still use for wool processing! It is incredible to see something like that in these over-tech times. Staff was very friendly and educated and you can see their passion for what they do. Our kids spent some time felting with one of local ladies and loved it! I definitely recommend to visit this place. Alberta has hidden gems!

What a cool place! We really appreciated the explanations and demonstrations of the equipment, seeing how everything worked, and trying our hand at felting. Thanks for a fun day!
