Majak Meadows is a biodynamic family-run farm that prioritizes the nourishment of the land and the quality of life for our animals by using alternative agriculture that takes an ecological and ethical approach to grow your food! Farm rules
1. No animals: no acceptations we ask this of you to keep your pets safe. If you bring an animal you will be asked to leave. 2. No alcohol, cannabis or smoking on the property. 3. Please do not feed our animals. 4. Please stay in designated area we will be happy to tour you around. 5. Be sure to tell your children to that our fences are electric and will give you a good shock if touched. 6. Please use provided trash and recycling bins. 7. Masks are not required but feel free to do what suits you best. 9. Please wear be sure to wear enclosed shoes.

An all-round great experience. It's great to see how a sustainable farm works. Kudos to this family for the work they do, and for their wonderful job explaining their practices to our non-farming family. I highly recommend this farm for a visit!

We bought 4 dozens of fresh farm eggs and since they were soo delicious we shared with our neighbours! The guided tour was soo nice, the guiders were descripted, and we got to ride a hay wagon!! While that ride we saw calm and sweet animals, soo cute! There was a stand and the owners were dairy farmers and told us some interesting things about dairy. I really loved the mini petting zoo there were sheep, ducks, bunnies, chicks and kittens! We got to hold the kittens and bunnies and of course and the little chicks!! You can also feed the ducks, sheep, and bunnies! It was SUPERB!!! Also a lady that was spinning told us cool things and gave me some wool. Can't wait to go there again!

It's hard to find a farm that holistically manages their animals in Central Alberta, but the Hoogland family has made it their purpose, and it truly shows. From their shining personalities, to their kindness and humbleness, to the Supreme quality of their products, you will not find a better naturally based farm anywhere.
