MJ Bender Farms
About this farm
We are a family run grain farm and are excited to be part of Open Farm Days this year. We will show you how some of the food you purchase is produced. On the tour you will see up close some of the machinery used on the farm as well as our flour mill. You will get a chance to see first hand how grains are milled as well as sample and purchase some of the products made with our home grown flour. Don't miss out on the chance to pet our sheep, cows and horses as well as feed our chickens. You will truly experience the life on a rural farm. ** We will be offering a 20 min. farm tour of the farm machinery and flour mill every 30 min beginning at 1:00 p.m. The last tour will be at 4:30. Cost is $5 per person under the age of 12 to a maximum amount of $20 per household. If possible, please purchase you tour ticket before coming. ** We you are welcome to tour the gardens and animal farm yard for free. ** Samples of products made with our home grown Stone Milled Flour will be available. You will also have the opportunity to purchase baked goods such as Cinnamon Buns, Cowboy Cookies and Home made bread as well as our milled Stone Ground Flour. ** Enjoy a refreshing beverage from our local coffee shop The Drop. They will be offering Iced Caramel Macchiatos, Iced Raspberry or Saskatoon Berry Lemonade, Iced Coffee, Caramel Macchiato and Americano Coffee for the cost of $4 per beverage.
