Reclaim Organics (market garden, vertical farm, flower farm)

About this farm

Come tour our certified organic farm, with features including vertical microgreen production, greenhouses, 12 acres of mixed vegetables and a cut flower farm. Enjoy the sunshine (or rain) and see how vegetable production happens on scale to feed thousands of families in your community. We will demonstrate specialized equipment and energetically answer all of your questions from what is regenerative agriculture? to how do I grow basil without it dying? In field sampling of some of our unique varieties of vegetables and edible flowers will be encouraged. Its a great time for a family, a date or an aspiring farmer. Tours will be just over an hour, and include the opportunity for shopping our on farm produce, canned goods and flowers. Come with farm appropriate shoes (rubber boots or hiking boots) and weather appropriate clothing, as tours are held in snow, rain or shine. If weather is too uncooperative we do have several indoor components to our farm and tours will continue inside. Tours are on Sunday, July 17th and Saturday, August 20th. No food will be served, but our local corner store at Sandholm sells freshly made pizza. Combine our tour with other local farms for a full day of farm fun. The closest 4 farms also doing tours are Farm Fresh Florals (18 min north), Crisp Acres (12min north), Old Red Barn and Hahn Family farm (25 min Northeast on the way to Edmonton/Leduc). Choosing 2 others would easily be manageable.
