I brought my kids last year and we were excited to come again this year. The family is so welcoming and friendly. The kids loved all the animals and tractors and how can you go wrong with home churned ice cream. Would recommend them to anyone!

We had a great time on the farm! My son loved climbing into the tractors, seeing the animals, making a craft, and the ice cream. Very well organized and the hosts were wonderful!

Great farm to visit. Very cute chickens and ducks. Nice big farm equipment to view. Made some flour and tried some ice cream. Our kids loved petting the kitten. Took a dozen of eggs home, can’t wait to try for breakfast.

Well done -parking was clear, the welcome tent was friendly and enhanced with colourful flower pots, a biosecurity footbath, everything was close & well laid out, lots of "staff" wearing OFD buttons to provide information, machinery available for pix, animals for contact, free ice cream, 4h display/crop exhibit with driving map, & farm market with variety of products

We all enjoyed the visit very much. The best part about the visits to the farm are talking to the people on the farm to learn about what they do and what life on the farm is like. Getting to pet or interact with animals is also a highlight.

It was amazing. I got to hug a cow! And learned lots about all the animals, cows, running ducks, and chickens. I will definitely recommend it to everyone next year.

Hi Hannah and Chris, Thank you so much for opening up your farm to the public. We had a great time. The BBQ hotdog was a hit. Our grandson, who is four, wanted to try to figure out how all the equipment worked. He kept saying "let's see the parts!!" He loved getting into the combine, both the cab and the tire rim. :) I think he was a little intimidated by the livestock but he still touched the cows, horse, chickens and the duck!! We know the work it takes to put together something like this, so from us city slickers, we truly appreciated the work and effort. Thank you, once again. Cheryl and Rob Boulet & Archer

We visited the Sturgeon River Stock Farm with two small children (3 years and 9 months). Our family enjoyed the opportunity to get to know animals, machines and also the farmers. The farmer equipment sparked so much joy in my 3-year-old. He was thrilled to even get behind the steering wheels. We are thankful that family and friends come together to make such a day possible. Take the time to visit the farmers who earn their daily bread by serving the farm. The exchange brings our humanity together, especially in times when, in my view, much is designed to divide. Thank you very much and hopefully we can come back next year. :-) Keep up the good work!
